Meet the Leadership Team

Frank started in the oil & gas industry in 1984 with Canadian Oilfield Stimulation Services where he started in its technical group and eventually moved into sales. Frank remained with Trican following its acquisition of COSS in 2000. He started by leading its Production Services team and eventually moved into sales and then to international business development. Frank left Trican in 2015 to found SpectroChem Technologies where he worked closely with oil & gas producers to identify production problems and design remediation programs to help exploit potential oil & gas production opportunities. He has spent the majority of his career focusing on the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin dedicated to the optimization and maintenance of oil & gas production.

Tim Gazankas
VP Operations

Tim started in the oil & gas industry in 1980 specializing in acidizing, industrial cleaning, and squeeze cementing where he held positions of Field Operator, Treatment Supervisor, Base Manager, and Operations Manager for Canadian Oilfield Stimulation Services. Tim remained with Trican after its acquisition of COSS in 2000, where he held positions of Production Operations Manager Acid Service Line Manager, and ultimately became Trican’s Corporate Service Line Manager of Acid Services. During his time with Trican, Tim worked on many offshore (Sable Island) and oversea projects in Russia, Algeria, and USA. He is skilled in project management, equipment and bulk facility design, treatment engineering, and new product development.

Chris Hensch
Production & Stimulation Chemical Field Sales Manager

Chris has been involved in completion and production chemicals for over a decade. With a background starting in field supervision and logistics he prides himself on providing great customer service. His forte, paraffin and scale remediation. Chris has extensive experience across multiple formations in Alberta and British Columbia solving these problems. Chris has worked multiple roles within companies giving him a great understanding on multitasking, diversity and product development. Chris has taken his experience and knowledge over the years and has expanded into sales. He’s a dedicated individual focused on finding cost effective chemical solutions for oil and gas producers.

Jim Best
Canadian Sales

Jim started in the oil and gas industry in 1974 with Halliburton in the field cementing and fracturing services. In 1976, Jim moved on to Canadian Fracmaster Ltd. working in fracturing, cementing, acidizing and coiled tubing services then moving into operations, managing these service lines. Jim was transferred to Calgary in 1989 to the sales group to help support coiled tubing services, coiled tubing horizontal drilling and business development in Russia and the middle East. As Jim’s career moved along, he in his career he worked with Trican Well Service Ltd. for 14 years in the sales group working on fracturing, cementing and acid services.

Charlotte Fisher

Charlotte started in the oil and gas industry in 1990 with Trican working in office and administrative roles and was with the company until November of 2020. During her time with Trican she saw the company go from a one-person office to being sold and the new management taking the company public in December of 1996, giving her many opportunities for change and growth. In her time with Trican, Charlotte worked on several projects with all departments putting in place administrative processes, procedures and cost saving initiatives. She has spent her career working in all aspects of base and office administration.
